About the CEO
Katina Master
Greetings from the CEO and Founder of MathCardio. I am a current educator with 23 years of teaching experience. I am a graduate of Tennessee State University, where I received my Bachelor’s in Education, I am also a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where I received my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. My heart and soul are in teaching. I have a passion for helping students become fearless and confident mathematicians. I believe that every child has the potential to learn and expand their mathematical abilities, with effort and proper guidance. I began this company during the Covid shutdown in 2020. During this time, myself along with parents and students were forced into the virtual world of learning. It was a stressful time for all involved! I realized the major learning gaps that had occurred because of the pandemic and decided to help bridge that learning gap. I am pleased to say that 4 years later MathCardio has continued to make a powerful impact on student learning! The increased confidence and success I witnessed my students experience in math has now led me to expand services to include English and Language Arts (ELA). I have a powerful and competent team of educators that are eager to connect and take your child’s courage and performance to the next level!

Brionna Brown
Hello! I am a current educator with more than 10 years of experience. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Since then, I have earned Master's degrees in Sports Management, Elementary Education, and Instructional Leadership from various institutions. Having taught multiple subjects, U.S. History is my favorite; however, English/Language Arts (ELA) is my specialty. I am passionate and purposeful about teaching my students to master the key conventions of standard English to build them into excellent speakers and writers. While working together, we will build our foundational and reading skills, and grow your student's confidence as an ELA learner. I look forward to helping enhance and develop your future leader!

Jameon Hatcher
Greetings! My name is Jameon Hatcher, and I began working in education in 2010. I have extensive experience with elementary education. I received my Master of Education degree in Elementary Education from
Alabama A & M University. I received my school leadership license from Arkansas State University. Throughout my time in education, I‘ve taught grades three through eight in both Alabama & Tennessee. Although I enjoy relating all subjects to students in a fun and creative way, my areas of expertise are Reading, Grammar, Writing, and Math. My purpose in education is to help students build unique skills that will foster a love for learning and ensure college and career readiness. I am passionate about the success of my students and will work hard to secure growth.

Maria Leos
Hello! My name is Maria Leos. My specialty area is English/Language Arts. I began working in education in 2008. I received my Bachelors in Education from Middle Tennessee State University, Masters in ELL from Lipscomb University, and my Ed.S in Education Innovation and Leadership from Fort Hayes University. I have spent most of my teaching experience in middle school teaching English/Language Arts, as well as servicing non-English speaking students. I enjoy helping students experience success in English/Language Art. I enjoy helping students be their best, and I look forward to helping your child experience success..
